  • Maxeome collects your personal data through various channels and interactions, including but not limited to:

    2. Through Our Website:

    We may combine the information you provide with other information from other sources, such as professional social media platforms and external third parties. We will collect additional personal data in the course of our services-related activities throughout the period of our working relationship with you. If you submit any personal data relating to another individual to us, we expect that you have the requisite authority to do so.

    It is important that the personal data we hold about you is accurate and current. Please update us if your personal data changes during our working relationship.

  • Maxeome will not process personal data without having a legal basis for doing so. The legal bases that we may rely on include:

    • Your consent

    • A contractual requirement necessitating the processing of your personal data

    • A legal obligation which is binding upon Maxeome

    • Our own or a third party controller’s legitimate interests, which does not disproportionately curtail your rights and freedoms.

    Where Maxeome is relying on legitimate interests to process personal data, we have conducted a legitimate interest assessment. Occasions where we may be relying on legitimate interests as our legal basis for processing personal data include:

    • Creating and maintaining professional network databases

    • Creating and distributing marketing materials that incorporate personal data

    • Carrying out business development activities with new and/or existing clients

  • We may share your personal data with:

    • Trusted third party service providers for our legitimate business interests, including but not limited to, IT infrastructure management or hosting our data on cloud platforms

    • Professional advisers including, but not limited to, lawyers, accountants, and auditors who provide consultancy, legal, and accounting services to us

    • Legal and regulatory bodies which require such disclosure

    We may additionally share your personal data with third parties where required by law, where it is necessary to fulfill our contractual obligations with you or where we have another legitimate interest in doing so.

  • Maxeome takes the security of your personal data seriously and implements appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect it. We adhere to appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used or accessed in an unauthorized way, altered or disclosed.

    Our company is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to provide our services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall.  

    All relevant third-party service providers are assessed and required to have appropriate security measures in place to protect your personal data. In addition, we limit access to your personal data to those employees, agents, contractors and other third parties who have a business need to know. They will only process your personal data on our instructions and they are subject to a duty of confidentiality.

    We have put in place procedures to deal with any suspected data security breach and will notify you and any applicable regulator of a suspected breach where we are legally required to do so.

  • Under certain circumstances, by law you have the right to:

    • Request access to your personal data. You can receive a copy of the personal data we hold about you and to check that we are lawfully processing it.

    • Request correction of your personal data. You can have any incomplete or inaccurate data we hold about you corrected, though we may need to verify the accuracy of the new data you provide to us.

    • Request erasure of your personal data. You can ask us to delete or remove personal data where there is no good reason for us continuing to process it. You also have the right to ask us to delete or remove your personal data where you have successfully exercised your right to object to processing, where we may have processed your information unlawfully or where we are required to erase your personal data to comply with local law. Note, however, that we may not always be able to comply with your request of erasure for specific legal reasons which will be notified to you, if applicable, at the time of your request.

    • Object to processing of your personal data. You can request that we limit the processing of your personal data if feel it impacts on your fundamental rights and freedoms. You also have the right to object where we are processing your personal data for direct marketing purposes.

    • Request restriction of processing your personal data. You can request that we limit the processing of your personal data if you contest its accuracy, if the processing is unlawful but you prefer the data not be erased, if we no longer need the data but you require it to establish, exercise, or defend a legal claim, or if you have objected to our use of your data but we need to verify whether we have overriding legitimate grounds to use it.

    • Request transfer of your personal data. You can request that we provide to you, or a third party you have chosen, your personal data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format. Note that this right only applies to automated information which you initially provided consent for us to use or where we used the information to perform a contract with you.

    • Withdraw consent. You can at any time withdraw consent where we are relying on consent to process your personal data. This will not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out before you withdraw your consent. If you withdraw your consent, we may not be able to provide certain products or services to you. We will advise you if this is the case at the time you withdraw your consent. 

    • Right to make a complaint. You have the right to make a complaint at any time to your local data protection authority with respect to data protection issues. However, we will do our best to resolve any complaint you may have in the first instance, and request you contact Maxeome first to resolve any issues you may have regarding our processing of personal data.

  • We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, including meeting legal, regulatory, or contractual obligations. When your data is no longer needed, we will securely delete or anonymize it, unless retention is required to comply with legal obligations or resolve disputes.

  • Our website may include links to third-party websites, plug-ins and applications. Clicking on those links or enabling those connections may allow third parties to collect or share data about you. We do not control these third-party websites and are not responsible for their privacy statements. We encourage you to read the privacy policy of every platform you visit.
